Family Constellations is a highly effective way of healing on a deeply felt energetic level, with long-term and often life changing results.

In working with several thousand family systems, renowned German psycho- therapist Bert Hellinger discovered age-old, hidden "Orders of Love" that cooperate in the depths of family organisms.
Violation and disrespect of these natural laws due to tragic circumstances and unconscious behavior in the generations that came before affect the lives of later members of the family.
Leading a grounded and authentic life requires restoring harmony to the Orders of Love in the family.
Workshop participants are frequently amazed and deeply touched when the hidden love connections and entanglements within their systems are revealed.

For instance, could we ever imagine that unhappiness or health problems could be connected to a stillborn child of our grandmother? Or that difficulties with a current partner could be related to an abortion 15 years ago, or even to the former partner of one's mother? That the severe illness of a child might be caused by an adoption?
Hidden entanglements of this kind are found behind most personal and even professional issues. Restoring balance and harmony to the family system will be equally effective for physical illness - from lower back pain to cancer - as it is for emotional and mental suffering.

The Family Constellation is the main technique for revealing the hidden dynamics in a family so they can be worked with and healed.

The client chooses from the other participants a representative for each family member- alive or dead - and places them in relationship to each other according to his/her inner picture of the system. This creates an energy field in which all involved participants begin to receive information (physical sensations, emotions, thoughts, etc.), related to the family member whom they are representing.  Every change in position within the constellation affects the information received.  As a result, previously sub-conscious, often tragic family ties are made perceptible and the dynamic that caused the participant's issue can be discovered.

With the information provided by the representatives, and using steps such as appreciation or detachment rituals, the constellation can now be restructured according to the "Orders of Love" into a balanced family system where love, flowing consciously and unimpeded, heals, and guilt, once acknowledged, can turn into energy.

A workshop can enable participants to:

•  Resolve misunderstandings, entanglements and blocks in family-, partner- and other relationships;

•  Break cycles of suffering, alienation, abuse and dysfunction in the family;

The Family Constellations Workshop Process

It is a group therapy made up of about 10-15 persons who are going to help each other to grow in a safe environment.

In a 3 days workshop, the number of constellations will be equal to the number of participants since each constellation session will be dedicated to one person being the centre - the “main subject” - and the other persons of the group will become representatives of the main subject's family members.

What is it about?

As human beings we adhere faithfully to the family's collective consciousness, and unconsciously we may burden ourselves or carry the weight of a fate, a conviction, a responsibility, that do not belong to us such as: repairing an injustice, feeling indebted towards someone (something) else, paying for a realised or subjected cause and effect.

The Family Constellations leads us to visualize, to materialize the internal image that we have of the “embedded” situation. Therefore, the dissonances, the intricacies, the loyalties, that we have integrated, which are brakes, or any kind of sabotage programs in our everyday life, are enlightened.

The objective is to liberate, undo the ties and hence to allow the person to integrate his/her own destiny enabling the energy of life to circulate anew, opening new horizons.

The “main subject” chooses in the group persons who will represent him/herself as well as the other members of his/her family, and places them in the room in a pure intuitive way thus wise comes to light his/her own internal image. This positioning gives indications regarding the existing relationships. The representatives, still and silent, will progressively have access

to emotions, physical sensations, feelings, which belong to the persons they represent and then will provide precious information to identify the dynamics which perturbs the system.

These feelings and sensations make the originality and the power of this method.

The search for solution relies on the acknowledgment of “faults” bringing to light hidden events, repositioning, the place and the tribute to the “forgotten”, everything in a respectful and non-judgmental manner.
